Hi all again. Today is really ending in 12 minutes. So I thought I'd do something meaningful? O.O
Recently, I've been reading/watching manga and anime in school when I've free time and watching dramas on the bus. And there are a few too awesome ones I really need to introduce.
Anime/Manga:
Area no Kishi
This manga was recently adapted into an anime *claps*. Although I'm not an avid fan of soccer or what-so-ever. Area no Kishi really captured my attention with the normal i-will-give-up-but-i-shall-stand-up-once-again plot, with a twist of a tragedy in it. The main character, Kakeru strives hard to carry his brother's dreams, who died in a traffic accident while trying to protect him. Sounds cliche enough? Give it a try. You won't regret it.
Taiyou no Ie
I really hope this manga gets an anime or something like that. A typical story about a girl who shut herself out because of her parent's attitudes towards each other. She writes her life story down and publishes it as a cellphone novel. And the hero... is kind of a weird hero, but you will grow to like him somehow (:
Drama:
Lady ~Saigo no Hanzai Profile~

This drama is so kick-ass I don't know how to describe how awesome it is. It talks about this 'profiling' group called CPS set up by the MPD to help in solving murder cases, where murderers each have their own fantasies and commit crime based on them. There isn't an over-emphasis on the profiling area, and the plot is extremely intriguing. Every episode never fails to shock or wow me with its detailed and systematic well written script.
Rate: 9/10
About the cast, I'll say it's a rather well balanced cast. First, we have Kitagawa Keiko acting as the main character. Keiko's acting skills are at least considerably good, good enough to keep me watching. Adding onto Keiko's influential presence, we have Kaname Jun. As usual this man never fails to potray his character properly. His charisma fits the murder/crime genre perfectly. The rest of the cast's acting are generally ok, given that I actually watched the whole series, eyes glued onto the screen. But I do wish they had more action and gun action in the series though.
